Notebook Heroes
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
We’re excited to showcase Notebook Heroes, a pitch project for UC Irvine’s Video Game Development Club! With 6 months in development (January - June 2023), our team is extremely proud of all our work since its inception. We’ve come a long way since then!
About the Game
In Notebook Heroes, art comes to life through simple stick-figure drawings as you gain a name for yourself by “doodle dueling” against your peers! Desks transform into your battlefield, and school supplies into your arsenal in this cartoon-style tower-defense game. Destroy your classmates’ castles and take down even the most skilled students in every classroom!
How to Play
Move Camera: A + D or LEFT + RIGHT
Summon Units/Spells: 1 - 5 number keys or click from the deck
Aim Archer (Controls launcher and spells): W + S or UP + DOWN
Launch Archer (or activate spells): Press or Hold SPACE
Upgrade: U or click sharpener
The enemy will spawn in waves. Destroy their castle before they defeat you!
